I have been a loyal customer of this salon for the past 3-4 years and have never experienced an issue until today. During my appointment, I politely asked my nail technician, Vanessa (I always have an appointment with her), to shorten two nails because they were visibly longer than the others. I understand that my nail beds differ in size, but the length difference was noticeable. Unfortunately, Vanessa became visibly agitated, loudly called other technicians over to examine my nails, and then asked if I wanted someone else to finish my service. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I declined because I had no issue with her completing my nails. She made the adjustment but remained silent for the rest of the appointment. My nails turned out beautifully, as they always do, but quality work does not excuse poor customer service. I wasn’t asking for a redo, just a simple adjustment. After years of loyalty, I never expected to feel embarrassed or disrespected for making a reasonable request. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I value great work, but I value being treated with kindness and respect just as much.
